05/08/2006 · It is a tranny from a 2200 which is a 2.2. There was 2 bolt patterns for the izuzus and the getrags. One for a 2.2 and one for a 2.4. Since it is a V6, do you think I can set the crank for 1 pulse/fire, and take off the extra 12 trigger teeth from the reluctor? In my mind this will work, but I’m not sure in real life how it would work out. 🙂 18x (Teeth), V6 so if I remove two teeth, skip one

My wifes 04 model my $$$ matco 1/2″ or my cheapie wouldn’t remove it even with regulator maxed at 160psi and fresh oil. I stopped by Ford and grabbed everybody’s 1/2″ including a couple high dollar snapon’s and then a buddies shop to grab his.

My wifes 04 model my $$$ matco 1/2″ or my cheapie wouldn’t remove it even with regulator maxed at 160psi and fresh oil. I stopped by Ford and grabbed everybody’s 1/2″ including a couple high dollar snapon’s and then a buddies shop to grab his.

Since it is a V6, do you think I can set the crank for 1 pulse/fire, and take off the extra 12 trigger teeth from the reluctor? In my mind this will work, but I’m not sure in real life how it would work out. 🙂 18x (Teeth), V6 so if I remove two teeth, skip one

Since it is a V6, do you think I can set the crank for 1 pulse/fire, and take off the extra 12 trigger teeth from the reluctor? Going to try crank sensor next but it shouldn’t be able to kill just one coil I wouldn’t think. No, the crank sensor will not cause the coils to act like that. Either they all fire or not. If you are SURE you are only loosing spark on 2-5, make sure you are using a good ignition module, check the plug wires.
